About Sudbury Shared Harvest

Sudbury Shared Harvest is a non-profit organization dedicated to putting surplus fruits and vegetables in the hands of people in need.

In 2014, Eat Local Sudbury began a three-year project to develop a program called Fruit for All, which connects Sudburians who have surplus produce on their property with people who can make use of it. Volunteers pick or pick up the fresh produce and we deliver it to soup kitchens, food banks and other community food programs that serve those in need.

Beginning in 2018, the Fruit for All program will be managed by Sudbury Shared Harvest. In the meantime, Sudbury Shared Harvest is developing several other initiatives, including a community food forest pilot project.
